Sustainability
FPC products are 100% by-product based and thus do not count against your “Fish In” calculation for your feed.
Additionally, FPC can replace fishmeal at a 1:3 ratio, further reducing the need for other sources of “Fishmeal from wild catch” leading to an even LOWER FiFo* ratio in your final feed mix.

Understanding FPC in Aquaculture Products
Fishmeal consists of harshly processed denatured proteins, resulting in them being less effective than the gently produced FPC.
Replace up to 100kg of fishmeal with only 33kg of FPC and still get improved performance.
The fat content of FPC comes mostly from Phospholipids (not Free Oil), important for growth, thus the cholesterol content is up to 2x higher in FPC than with traditional fish oil ingredients.
The benefits of PerfectDigestTM FPC are important if you choose organic or anti-biotic free , as the natural prebiotic effects counter the lack of man made medications in the diet.

Functional Benefit
When using fishmeal in feed manufacturing, it does NOT coat/soak into the grain components.
When the small molecule FPC proteins are added as a liquid in the feed manufacturing process, they effectively “penetrate/soak” into the grain component.
Thus, for shrimp applications, the animal does not have the ability to separate the “grain components from the marine components” when eating….this results in less waste and better feed conversion.
