BlueWave's PerfectDigestTM FPI is a truly unique nutritional supplement for improving feed conversion and growth for intensive farming situations.
FPI is a purifed and concentrated Peptide + Nucleotide derivative produced under highly controlled conditions. The bio-activity of the peptide + nucleotide allow it to do more than the “measured” protein or amino acid content. And thus, when incorporating into your feed mix we strongly recommend that you focus on tests specific to your farm – starting with a ‘Feed on top’ approach to your current mixes.
Economic Impact
Generally speaking, FPI is best used in the 0.75-1.5% inclusion rate. At higher levels it is actually possible to have a “negative effect” as the stimulant can reduce the animals feed intake.
In the event that you are a feed company or have a large operation and wish to use our raw FPI to add to your own Pellets or Premixes, BlueWave can supply Pure FPI on long term contractual basis.
The most economical format are Liquids at ~50% solids, however dry powders can be contracted, pending your production requirements.
Nutrient Profile
Amino acid profiles will vary in FPI just as they do in all fish protein sources depending on the species, the season caught, age level etc.
The performance benefits of FPI are more heavily dependent on the catalytic and stimulant properties described herein, and NOT the amino acid profile.
The chart to the right is based on 100% dry matter protein, thus the water/ash content must be discounted in feed calculations
